I have a very hard time being serious in front of a camera. I always make silly faces, or just look awkward, or do something else to make an otherwise good picture a little funky. What can I say, I'm kind of a spaz! ;) This blog has helped me in that I can now take a few good shots in a row before crossing my eyes or sticking out my tongue, but there are still plenty of less-than-flattering photos of me. definitely better to be silly!!! it shows so much more personality!! and i love that your nails are two different colors. i do that too sometimes :-)
ReplyDeleteI try to be serious, but in between takes, I'll always ask "Does this look awkward? Do I look like a creeper staring into your soul... etc." Ha.

Hehe, some of those are quite good by my standards! Being silly is good, I think! I'm just unphotogenic, as my family and boyfriend love to tell me. So for one good picture there are generally two or three just like those or worse!

Oh man, so fun! I often either wink or stick out my tongue when a camera comes out. This has been something I've done since age 2!

I am normally pretty serious in photos, although I prefer people who can be silly in them. Great headpiece in the last photo.
